I know they get 2 year molars. I can kinda feel one in the back I think. She just had a fever for the past couple days and has been unbelievably cranky. The other thing is she is drooling uncontrolably and she refuses to swallow it. Has anybody ever had this problem? She will hold it in her mouth forever, she won't even talk sometimes because she knows it's gonna fall out on her. I just don't want it to be something else wrong besides her teeth. Any thoughts or comments or suggestions?

I would assume that she's teething as well. DS is getting his two year molars as well right now and he's been running a low grade fever for the past couple days and has been really sluggish and tired all the time. He's been a little extra cranky as well!

Have you tried Hyland's teething tablets? They worked great for my girls. They sell them at Target, Walmart & CVS.

Also, if it is really bad, you can give them Motrin.

It is not the best solution in the world but a little dum dum every now and then makes teething 2 year olds less grumpy, too. It will also help with drooling.

That's what I've been doing!!!! I used to always give DS pretzel rods when he would get new teeth... He apparently doesn't like those now so we've been using Dum-Dums & Popcicles!!

Popsicles are great, too! However, my two year old still makes a horrible mess with them.. lol

They are usually a bit more used to the pain by now, and take it in stride, but it can make them cranky. However, shine a flashlight into the throat, making them say AH, to make sure they don't have a sore throat.
