My oldest got the chicken pox after he was vaccinated. HIs case was very mild (maybe 25 spots on his entire body). He still had to miss school though because he was contageous.

if your child does get the chicken pox after being vaccinated its usually less and not itch so bad..

oldest ds was exposed and never did get them(he had the shot)
youngest dd got them from the shot she did not itch just had the chicken pox all over her. she looked worse than she felt..
