Question will your preschooler need to bring snacks for the class?

ds is going to pre-k and we need to bring a set number of pre-packaged snacks and 2 gallons of juice... we did not do this with my older ds but he went to a different program that paid for the snacks.. i don't mind at all...

if you do what kind of healthy pre-packaged snacks would you bring?

DD is starting preK in the fall as well, and we are to bring enough snacks for 2 snacks a day each week. They also are to have a water bottle. Here was what I was brainstorming
-Raisins
-Popcorn
-Granola bars
-Grapes
-Peanuts (as long as no other children are allergic)
-Teddy Grahams
-Gold Fish
-Peanut butter and crackers

I had to do this for my pre-k and kindergartener last year. Talk about getting a little pricey. This year I will only have to do it for my kindergartener as far as I know. We have to bring one salty snack and one sweet snack each month. No drinks since they all have water bottles that they fill up thru out the day. Here is what I would take:

Goldfish crackers, ritz crackers-(one time I provided peanut butter and the cheese in a can), those cracker sandwiches (different types of crackers and fillings), animal crackers. Walmart brand cookies, dried fruit, granola bars, fruit bars, pretzels, popcorn-regular and kettlecorn (the kind that is already popped), graham crackers.

I would basically take anything that I knew for sure my own kids would eat. The key to it as far as cost is get everything you can generic.
