so the post do you have a swingset made me wonder who has a trampoline??

we do a 15 ft round with the net enclosure we have rules for jumping wich include one at a time the others have to sit on the side and wait also other kids parents have to give me permission to let their children jump. we have had ours for 3 years now and we as a family use it more than anything dh even put up a b ball hoop so we use beach balls thats fun. we have had no accidents or injuries but i'm out there keeping a close eye on things its padlocked when i'm not out there.(dh does hate taking it down for winter though but its a must here so that it stays in good shape and the jumping part does not deteriorate with the weather)

i know some don't approve of them but how many of you love yours?

No, we don't. I don't care for them and don't really like my kids on them.

When we had one the kids did like it, but didn't use it that often and about 3 yrs. ago we got rid of it because the insurance company didn't approve of them saying they were a liability. Like I said when we had one the kids did like it.

With a large wooden swing set and a large above ground pool we don't have room for one. I don't let my kids play on one unless it has a net around it.

This is a great rule. Parents like me who don't allow it, REALLY appreciate you!

I've never been a fan of them since I've heard of several children becoming seriously injured on them. Even if we wanted one our homeowners insurance wouldn't allow it.

I dont like them at all. I have a friend who was a trained gymnsts have an accident on one, broke his neck, and he has been in a wheel chair for about 28 some years. Granted he was doing some difficult tricks, but still, they just scare me too much.

I just do not think it would be fun to have a kid watch my kids on it! for one but also I feel others have there reason for not and I need to respect that!
I am a stickler for safety but since my girls are gymnasts they use it for
help with that mostly and like I said safety comes first and as a parent we need to respect each others wishes.
