My DS2 recently turned 3 and his response to everything is "NO!", whether it's something he wants to do or not! Unfortunately, he's also very stubborn so it's very difficult to get him to budge. DS1 did this too, but at a much younger age and he it was just something he said, not anything he really meant (usually, lol).

Any tips on how to survive the "NO!" stage without selling DS2 to the highest bidder??

well since he is 3 let me give you an example lets say you ask him do you want some juice(knowing he does and is thirsty) and he says no. don't give him any and if he throws a fit then you get down to his eye level and say if you want something to drink you have to use your words and tell me yes or you won't get any... and leave it at that.. it takes a while but he will get the idea.. i also will give two choices yes or no if you say no than forget it you won't get what you wanted he is old enough hes just testing.. try not to sell him off yet he will out grow it.
