Hi

Well my ds is going to be turning 4 soon. And will be starting 2 day a week preschool with 3 year olds. (Going 1 year later to school because of bday)

Well..i have him enrolled in swimming lessons and now feel like i really should put him in gymnstatics also.

Not that he doesnt have preschool 2x a week, swimming for 30 min 1 x a week, plus story time at the library 1x a week.

I guess if i dont put him in gymnstastics these next 2 years then he wont do it ..because once he turns kingarden it woudl be too much...especially with his brother getting ready for high school.

I keep thinking he would love gymnstatics because of the running and jumpign and bouncing off stuff...he is a very active boy!!!!

Oh I hate it when i cant make up my mind...if i overschedule him or myself then i am also going to hate that ...

help

i would say sometimes less is more and at this age i think that a couple activites is more than appropriate he has his entire life ahead of him to work and do activites.

I say "sign him up!"...LOL! Why not?! You know your child, and family, the best and IMO many children thrive with lots of activity...it's not necessarily a bad thing. When my kids were small, we tried all kinds of different activities/classes...it's not like they had five activities a day or anything and couldn't keep up with their calculus homework. LOL They had a blast!
