I don't know if this is to be posted here or not but here I go. My dd who turned 4 in July I think has ADHD. She has been a holy terror since she has been little. She is up at 7:30 am in the morning and runs and tears until I practicly have to tie her to the bed at midnight. She rarely naps and has not napped since she has been about 2. She distroys everything she touches from paper to kitchen things, ripping the toilet paper off the roll and throwing it all over the bathroom, flooding the bathroom, running outside naked all the time, taking any kids toys away, doing anything and everything she is told not to do, and that is just a small sample. I have talked to doctors and teachers and they just tilt their heads and nod and listen and say "yes, you do have your hands full." And I keep saying I need help with her, I don't know what else to do. And noone will help me. I have tried every form of disciplin and nothing works, she just laughs at everything. I am home with her night and day and I can't take much more. She is getting way to old to have to watch her every minute of every day so she does not destroy my house anymore. She has wrote on every wall, my sheets, the floor.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried to even find a psycologist or somthing and there isn't one who will talk with me since she is not in school yet (well there is but they are over 75 miles away and I can't do that now).

I say find a pediatric specialist and take her for an evaluation - no matter how far away they are, it sounds like you need some help. I'm sorry that so far it seems no one is taking you seriously but if your maternal instinct says there is something wrong, you need to find out what it is in order to get your DD the help she needs.

Good luck.
