so do you feel like preschool puts a strain on you financially?

we are fortunate enough to not have to pay for my 4 year old but for our 7 year old we did and at times i had to scrape up the money. so how does it affect you if you pay?

Absolutely.

At the time we were paying for my dd's preschool, I also had a car payment. We have now paid off that vehicle. We're hanging onto our current vehicles as long as possible.

I'm happy I decided to send her to public school because we can pay $500 more on debt each month without paying for school.

I will be paying for preschool for my almost 3 yr old next year.

Not so much a strain for us, but this year, as we are not having to pay, we are def saving that money and it is showing. I am very grateful for that!

Definitely. We're paying almost $500/month for two kids MWF 9-12. The only good part is that we're paying it with pre-tax dollars so we save a little bit there.

It IS a strain on us financially, but the benefits both to her AND ME are worth it. This year, thankfully, too, we are only paying for ONE to go..and even then, I am subbing once in a while to cover at least part of the tuition costs! Next year, we won't have any in preschool....and that makes my heart so sad!!

I'm scared I will be. DD turns three in October next year and I really don't want her to spend another year with babies when she could be learning with kids her age. Too bad her birthday is a month past the cut off for all of the reasonable programs in our area. I don't know what we will end up doing, as I will also be paying for another child to go to daycare.
