My sister in law gave me a book called "HypnoBirthing" on natural birth. I've read almost half of it and it sounds almost too good to be true. It sounds like using no pain reliever or anything that I will just feel a little "pressure" while delivering. I am wondering if anyone used it here and if this was their experience or if that book is making it a lot more rosey.

As I've said before on here I was induced with DS and my GOAL is to not do that again (unless my doctor feels it is necessary or I go way too past my due date). Because I was induced the contractions were out of this world until I got my 2nd epidural. So I am fearful of going ALL natural on this one, knowing the contractions I experienced while on petosin (sp?)....but if I COULD do it, I would want to.

So again, my question is if anyone has used this method and what their experience was...

My really good friend did hyno birthing. Her major complaint was that no one taught her how to push and her daughter was stuck. She really did like the hypno birthing. Just needed a little more nautural childbirthing in the class that she took.
