I was just wondering how long did it take for you to go into labor after you lost your mucus plug?

It was probably around 2 weeks when I was pregnant with DD. However I just lost mine a few hours ago and I"m starting to feel crampy. I was in the hospital yesterday and my contractions were coming every 3-4 min then they just stopped. I did go from 1 1/2-3 1/2 cm dilated though and 70%-85% effaced. Hmmm....keeping my fingers crossed!

I wonder why they didn't just keep you if you have already dilated that much. With my second ds I never lost my plug (that I can recall) I nknew it was time to go to the hospital when I couldn't get comfortable (beyond the normal I am over being pregnant) I just could not lay right or sit with out being extremely uncomortable. GOOD LUCK!!!

I never noticed it with DD#1. I didn't loose it with DD#2 until I was in labor!
