What things did you baby-proof if any?

-I have only baby-proofed the upstairs with a gate (where the bedrooms are) because my 5 yr old will go downstairs and VERY QUIETLY watch TV..-not anymore
-The entertainment center is SECURED to the wall.
-Chemicals are in a locked closet.

Once baby starts crawling I will probably only do the outlet covers.

We have oulet covers, cabinet lock thingys and two baby gates one at the basement stairs one at the top of the 3 floor stairs. I did not put my decorations like floor stacking boxes, country crate, etc. away though because I want him to learn boundaries so we have been trying to redirect him when he goes near and say NO!

Not much.
I put plastic covers on the electrical outlets and put locks on the cupboard with cleaning supplies - that was about it.
I hate to dust, so I didn't have a lot of knick-knack type stuff to worry about.
I didn't have stairs, so that wasn't a concern either.

I still need to do a few things like the entertainment center and bookcase. Also I've gotta take stuff out of the bottom drawer in the kitchen and under the sink. I dont let DS go anywhere by himself, but I still need to do it, just in case. I did the outlet covers EVERYWHERE!

Mostly outlet covers and cabinet locks in the kitchen and bathroom. We have 2 steps to go down to our bedroom and I put a baby gate across that. I also put a baby gate across the door to the laundry room because they wanted to play in the cat food and litter.

I did outlet covers, and we have cupboard locks on cupboards with chemicals and glass items. We have a gate for the stairs but do not use it anymore.

I put plastic covers on the outlets, and any cupboard in the kitchen that could be openend by dd was ( and still is) kept closed by saftey latches. The same for the tv cabinets and our bedside tables.
The cat litter went outside where she could not get it.
I would rather go a little overboard and be safe than either be in a state of worry over certain things or regret it.

We have a glass top coffee table with sharp corners - for that I bought insulation foam for pipes from Home Depot and stuck them using duct tape. I have made it look neat somehow. The stuff they sell in BRU with elastic didn't work for us for DD would always pull it when she was trying to get up, and our table was too huge for the sizes available.
