What do you feed your one year old for meals and snacks?

Today, DS had pudding Tomarrow is jello. He usually eats a bunch of cereal, and for meals he still eats jar foods, rice, oatmeal, pancakes. I'm just running out of ideas!

By about 10 months old my kids all ate whatever we were eating, just chopped small.

My dd just turned one. She eats most things with us now, just cut really small or I blend it up in the food processor. She loves waffles (plain and whole) and crackers(whole-any kind), that's probably her favorite right now. She has cheerios every day for a snack.

We think alike! I just posted about her veggies over in the toddler forum.

Let's see...I am trying to get veggie, fruit, and protein in each meal.

Her veggies so far:
green beans
creamed corn
creamed spinach
garden peas
sweet potatoes

fruits:
apple sauce
pomegranate sauce
bananas
kiwi
strawberries

For protein, I have done shredded grilled chicken, ham, turkey, and cheese.

Oh, breakfast is yogurt or cream of wheat with some fruit.

I use Cheerios, dried fruit (her fave is the dried apples), yogurt puffs, and whole wheat bread for her snacks.

I think that's it...probably a lot more than you really wanted to know. You can tell I am probably over thinking this whole parenting thing!

ETA: Oh, I forgot to add steamed broccoli and cantaloupe. She likes those too.

Right now our biggest hit is Watermelon (because we have so much in the house). My DD just turned one and has been eating Adult food for a long while now. I don't do the jar food (never did). She feeds herself.

-Just cut up whatever you are eating and feed it to him on a plate (try letting him feed himself too).
