DD has decided that she really doesn't like the push walker we bought and would rather "design" her own.

Right now, her favorites are the knee-high trash-can-type container that we keep the dog food in and the kitchen chairs. She stands up and pushes them everywhere. I will find them all over the house. The actual push walker, however, I can always find...right where I left it last. She has very little interest in it.

Did your babies have any interesting walkers?

None of mine have really liked the push walkers either. They will use anything that they could move. I had a little table and chairs in the playroom and they loved to use the chairs to push along the floor. If they were on carpet, they mostly walked around the walls and held on to the furniture.

We had a little Radio Flyer push walker type toy that was like a tiny wagon with a bar on it to push it. My boys loved that thing because they would put stuff in it and then push their stuff all around. They also loved using chairs. We have hardwood floors and I put those felt circles on the legs of the chairs so the floors wouldn't get scraped, and it made the chairs very easy to scoot around. Good fun until they smashed into the walls. Oh and my youngest loved to push the ottoman around that was on wheels. That was great until the day when he had just turned one that he decided to just give it a big push down the stairs. We ended up with a massive hole in the sheetrock and the wheels came OFF that night. Some of you may remember me posting about that lovely incident!

Rebecca didn't like her push walker either...she loved to push laundry baskets and the ottoman around the carpet in the living room.

Nope our little man never played with his. He also held onto furniture and walls to get around. He also doesn't like the ride on toys. But maybe he will like those when he's a bit older.
