Well, with my first one I gained 70 pounds and lost it in about 9 months. My second I gained about 40 and lost most of it (I was too thin before getting pregnant) within about 6 months. #3 I gained about 25 pounds and lost it with about 6 months. #4 I gained about 50 pounds and did not have time to loose it, I was pregnant with #6 within 3 months, I still did not loose the weight after him since I was pregnant 7 monts after he was born. I did not loose much after he was born and had another one 3 yrs later. That one is now 61/2 and I have come to terms with the fact that I will never be tiny again. So worth it for having 7 healthy babies if you ask me!

i gained 50 pounds with ds and it took 7 months of eating much healthier and a lot of walking to get it off.
it was another 50 pounds with dd and it took longer as i had post partum depression...about 1 1/2 years total to get it all off.

Amen to that! I lost all of the baby weight by the time I went to my 6 week check-up with each of my kiddos. Not sure where I lost the weight from (maybe my ankles?) though since my stomach will never be the same!
