I just now calculated how much I've gained between both pregancies (17 months apart babies) and it's around 100 pounds. I think I almost cried. Did you join a gym...or start eating healthier? How did you loose the weight and about how long did it take?
I'm feeling like my prebaby clothes will never fit again.

#1 6-8 weeks
#2 2-3 months
#3 more like 6 months. It took awhile to lose the last couple pounds. And that was with exercising 6x/week.

dd #1 it took me 15 weeks but them I gained it back and then some.... so this time around I am trying to be better about my calorie intake and realized that excuse you are eating for 2 doesn't realy have to apply. I am overweight to begin with so my goal to gain this time is only 15lbs total. After this on (it is our last for now) keeping our options open I am givin myself a year to loose 100 lbs. I think it is a good goal. I have other little goal break downs in that 12 months but in the end it is 100lbs in 12 months.

I gained 50 lbs when I was pregnant. I ate everything. I did walk every day while I was pregnant though. I don't remember losing actual weight, but I must have, because 9 years later, I am only about 13 pounds more than I was before pregnant. I was super petite before getting pregnant, like a size 4-6, and am now like a 7-8. I would say about 6 months, because I remember when I went back to work, I had to buy size 10 dress pants. Now I can wear 6 or 8. My stomach never went away. My shoulders also got really wide, and I had to go from small shirts to medium. Don't stress about it too much, just enjoy your babies.

I gained about 25 lbs with M'ija and 7 of that was her. I couldn't stand to be in the same room with a piece of cooking meat for the first three months of my pregnancy, and lived on fresh fruit and veggies for the most part. Even after the morning sickness ended, I didn't have much of an appetite for meat. I also had a very physically demanding job, so I worked off any calories M'ija didn't use.
I was back in my pre-preg jeans three weeks after she was born.
All I did was eat well and walk the dog every day. I didn't count calories - I just didn't eat junk food.

don't hate me... LOL I lost all the wieght the first couple of weeks. I only gained 22 lbs with both kiddos.
This one I am up to 10 lbs at 32 weeks.
now, here is where you don't have to hate me :-) I gain 20 pounds about 6 weeks+ into nursing.... and when I quit nursing, I lose that weight with in a few months.
I too am not motivated in exercising ( gym wise ) I like to do yard work, rake, etc.

With Rebecca I gained 58lbs and it took me about a year to get most of it off. I just ate better and worked out when I could...
With Jacob, I gained 40lbs and I weighed myself this morning (2 weeks after having my c-section) and I have lost 30 lbs of that. I am not sure how, although I think that not eating all the time and not eating junk and being on a liquid diet 2 days in the hospital has something to do with it. (Also I am not breastfeeding so I am not sure why I lost all the weight). I am still unable to work out or do anything excercise wise since I have had some complications, but I am trying to eat healthier and make sure I have a fruit or veggie with every meal or rather whenever I get a chance to eat.

I gained about 30 pounds with dd and then continued to gain another 15 after she was born (due to my own laziness). I lost 25 pounds when she was about 6 months old...with ds, I gained 40lbs & lost 20 the day he was born. I had a really tough time losing weight after him. I exercised & ate healthy, but kept gaining. When he was 2, I finally started losing the weight (after being put on Wellbutrin) and have lost another 20lbs.

With my first one I was able to get under pre-pregnancy weight in 9 months. With my second one it has been 2 1/2 years and I keep going up and down, but haven't gotten back to pre-pregnancy ever.
