How often do you have baby cravings? You know the craving to have a (or another) little one?

My husband and I have found ourselves thinking about more kids...not now...but down the road. I HATE being pregnant...but the second the little one is in my arms I forget all about my crappy pregnancy. I'm not sure if we'll have more kids from me...but we like the idea of adoption. I keep finding myself dreaming of having more kids...which is funny since we will soon have two little boys in the house. (That thought scares me a bit! ) I've even caught my hubby talking about the little girl he will have someday...I repeat we will soon have two BOYS. Anyone else dreaming of future babies?

Every now and then I'll see a sleeping baby and think .... And then I realize that in about 15 minutes that baby is going to be awake and I thank my lucky stars that we're not having anymore.

Unfortunately it is happening to me every time I see a baby or baby items. My "baby" just turned 2 and I have had 2 miscarriages this year. I think I would be all right if I would not have had the miscarriages. I went through through their baby toys today and got a little sad but I put away the best ones just in case and then put the rest in the basement for when we have a yard sale next year.

Yeah- wait until those boys are grown a bit and see how you feel! LOL! Mine are 3 and 5 and I am SOOOO done having kids (especially since I know the next would be another boy and they'd have to commit me!)

Same here. My boys will be one at the end of the month and I do miss having a tiny baby to hold. But then I think about all the sleepless nights and I am glad that we're not having any more.

Never. Once I had M'ija, I knew I was done.
I love her dearly, and for the most part, enjoyed raising her, but never had any desire to repeat the experience.

For right now we are done. When Jacob was born, I truly felt our family was complete. And since I have had a lot of complications with my own recovery I really don't know if I can handle the stress of another high risk pregnancy and another c-section recovery (this one has not been fun)...That being said though, DH and I are not ready to say absolutely not to future kids. We are leaving the option open for the next few years ( I want to be absolutely done by the time I am 35, so I am giving us 5 more years), but for right now we are done.

Thank you I appreciate it. I always felt for those that lost babies but now I really know what it feels like.
