We are expecting our 4th child & would like to use cloth diapers. We have tried to do research, but I'm wondering how many diapers & covers do I need. Any info would be appreciated!

I hope this helps you.

With M'ija, I just bought 3 dozen plain cloth diapers, a dozen diaper pins, and four pairs of vinyl pants to go over the diapers - the only diaper expense I had after that was bigger vinyl pants as she grew.
When she was a newborn, I just folded the diapers smaller to fit her tiny hiney. At night, I folded a second diaper and put it inside the other diaper like a sanitary napkin. She did not wake up when she peed at night, and without the second diaper, she AND the bed would be soaked in the morning.
