how did it go?

We dressed up DD as a bunny. She did great keeping it all on for about an hour. I was really surprised...in a good way. She and DH went to the houses in our cul-de-sac. It was so sweet, some of them had actually gotten a special treat just for her! One had bought her a little gift and another had made a cookie for her with her name on it. We are so blessed with our neighbors.

Once they came home, DD pulled off her tail and ears. She was left with her white onesie and tights. She had a blast answering the door, talking gibberish to all of the kids, and giving out candy.

All in all, a super night!

How was Halloween for your babe?

DS was a caterpillar, and everyone absolutely loved his costume, which is good because it cost me a small fortune! HA!
I'll have to post a pic when I can.
We went to our neighbors' and then to both of my grandparents' houses and then both mine and DH's parents's house,s o everyone could see him! He did well, our adventure took a little over 4 hours, and he did fine in his costume! It was a fun night, everyone got a huge kick out of him!! lol!

My granddaughter (5 months) was a skeleton. I did not take her out because it was way too cold. I dressed her up and she helped me pass out candy to the 3 people who actually ventured out and made it to our house.

The boys were dressed as pumpkins and they were so cute. They had a little green hat that they pulled off all the time but other than that they really didn't seem to care.

We dressed him up as a monkey! (It's his nickname...so it was perfect!) We didn't trick or treat to any houses...but we did check out a few stores that had trick or treats going on. And we showed him off at my hubby's work. He did very well with the costume....didn't try to take it off until the very end.
