There is SO nothing sexual about that picture. It's actually very sweet. It really captures some of the best moments of breast feeding -- those sweet, innocent eyes looking up at you...makes me wish my little ones would stop growing up so fast!!!

What prudes. Ridiculous. My girlfriends have all breastfed right in front of my DH & it's no big deal. I doubt most men would get a stiffy from a glimpse of a breastfeeding mom.

It's just ridiculous that people are making such a fuss over this. That's what breasts are for, first and foremost, and it is a beautiful picture with nothing offensive about it. Like others have said, I've seen more female flesh on the covers of other magazines. It's pretty sad when there is outrage over a magazine cover of a baby eating!

That is a nice picture, the love you can feel from the baby looking at his mother is so real.

I did have a breastfeeding issue one day, I was in the grocery store doing my shopping and i turned down one aisle and saw lady sitting on the floor, breastfeeding! I was shocked, just kept walking. I dont mind breastfeeding, but I think some thought should be given where you are, and how it will look, she could have gone and sat on a bench, near the checkouts, she could have placed a blanket over the baby and breast. there were many ways to modestly do this. I felt I had a breast shoved in my face.

When are people going to learn what breasts were really made for?
Forgive me, but where does this woman live? Mars? A 13 yr old has SURELY seen a boob before! I think it's ine to BF in public and I support it, because they are taking a stand that their child is more important than peoples judgement of them. If people don't like the picture WHY look at the magazine, and if they subscribe to it they should expect it.

that article pissed me off. especially the part that said less than 43% voted that women should have the right to breast feed in public,. its not about the breast its about nourishing your child. and feeding them the healthiest possible food. and the mothers that were on their calling it sick? Hello? are they compeltely stupid? what do they think boobs are for? i would rather my ds know breasts are a part of nourishing your child rather than only think they are a sexual part of the body. my dd knows that breasts are for feeding babies, my best friend breast feeds at my house all the time infront of my dh or not, it doesn't bother him in the least, and she covers her chest up when she does it for her own comfort. it doesn't bother me, i think a child suckling at its mothers breast is incredibly touching. i also thought that picture was a wonderfully expressive pic of that child and the love in that childs eyes. its not like you could see any nipple, the only part of the breast you could see was the side, and unless you told your child thats a breast it would be a little more difficult to tell. and hey, you see more skin than that on pop stars, what makes it ok for them to show it all off for no purpose other than to turn men on, and make more money? atleast this mother showed her side breast while feeding her child and promoting breast feeding! hers atleast is a better way to show skin than to just flash it all ove the place hoping to sell some records. ugh, peoples narrowmindedness makes me angry. sorry for this being so long.
