Yuck! Morning sickness stinks. Why is it that I totally forgot how horrible it was having morning sickness with my daughter. Then I get pregnant and suddenly I am like, "OH YEAH, that is what I hated about the beginning of my pregnancy!!!" With my daughter I got it every single morning whether it was on a week day or weekend, no matter what time I got up. I am now 7 weeks along, and on Friday the puking in the morning started. I didn't have it all weekend or yesterday. This morning the second I woke up I didn't feel good. I thought it would be okay thought and that I wouldn't throw up. I drank a big glass of water and IMMEDIATELY after drinking it, there I was in the bathroom throwing up that nasty yellow bile throw up. Ewwwwwwwww!!!!! Then, of course, I have to go to work so I come to work and sit here feeling sick all morning. I have eaten crackers and barely started putting peanut butter on them. I just had lunch and I couldn't eat it. I made Ramen noodles. I usually never have a problem with it at all. Today however, disgusting. I am miserable. I want to go home so badly and sleep and rest, but I can't. I need to just tough it up but geez I feel like crap today. With my daughter the morning sickness would last until noon and stop right away. Not this one though. This is so sucky. I know I shouldn't complain but I am so not wanting to be here.

How often do you chickedies get the whole morning sickness? With your past pregnancies how was it? Hmmmm......

I didnt have it with my first daughter, and with my second I was just really ill and tired ALL day for the first three months. This baby was really good to me, no sickness, just horrible indigestion.

I was extremely sick with my first dd (she's 5 now). Had the all day long, throwing up anything and everything every single day sickness. I lost 15 lbs during the first trimester. I was over 20 weeks along before my stomach stopped being so volatile, and I didn't have to worry so much that one bite too many would make me throw up.

With the twins (they're 3), I could get sick at any time too. Generally I had to make sure to have a little something in my tummy all the time. Very small, frequent snacks. I could only eat about 4-6 tbs of food at one time or I'd throw up. That started about week 10, and lasted through week 20. I ended up losing about 10 lbs during the first trimester.

With Elise, it really didn't matter what I ate, I could throw up anything at any time. With the twins, if I looked at something wrong, I'd throw up. Smells bothered me more with my first (things like rice cooking and toast were really offensive to me).

The only real advice I have for you, is (if you can) try to lie down on your left side when you start feeling nauseous. Many times that saved me from puking. It's tough when you're working though. If you have any food or drink that is soothing, go for it. Peppermint tea with honey might help. I liked cucumbers when I was expecting the twins.

Hope you feel better soon! [HUGS]

Lets see........with my four year old i was sick all the time. I mean 24/7 it was a nightmare. All i wanted to do was sleep, that lasted until about 20 weeks. With my three year old I was sick in the mornings and then felt okay the rest of the day until about 16 weeks. With this little one I felt sick a few mornings but only threw up twice. Other than those couple times i feel great!!

I remember those times well and wish you the best. I hope it will get better soon. Can your doctor prescribe something? My dr. says Zofran is OK during pregnancy.
