I was extremely sick with my first dd (she's 5 now). Had the all day long, throwing up anything and everything every single day sickness. I lost 15 lbs during the first trimester. I was over 20 weeks along before my stomach stopped being so volatile, and I didn't have to worry so much that one bite too many would make me throw up.
With the twins (they're 3), I could get sick at any time too. Generally I had to make sure to have a little something in my tummy all the time. Very small, frequent snacks. I could only eat about 4-6 tbs of food at one time or I'd throw up. That started about week 10, and lasted through week 20. I ended up losing about 10 lbs during the first trimester.
With Elise, it really didn't matter what I ate, I could throw up anything at any time. With the twins, if I looked at something wrong, I'd throw up. Smells bothered me more with my first (things like rice cooking and toast were really offensive to me).
The only real advice I have for you, is (if you can) try to lie down on your left side when you start feeling nauseous. Many times that saved me from puking. It's tough when you're working though. If you have any food or drink that is soothing, go for it. Peppermint tea with honey might help. I liked cucumbers when I was expecting the twins.
Hope you feel better soon! [HUGS]
