I am in the blah beginning stage of being pregnant. I need to eat, but nothing sounds good and I am starting to feel a little bit of an upset stomach. No big morning sickness yet, but I am anticipating it.
So I need some ideas of some good healthy snacks to keep in the house. I know this is my 3rd pregnancy, but my mind is drawing a blank.

one thing that works wonders for any upset stomach being pregnant or not is LIME...especially LIME popsicles!!!Myy sister was born diabetic and had a HORRIBLE time the ENTIRE 9 mo preg and pract lived on them.

Also...it's an olympic even...train for it AND eat for it...just eat healthy-yogurts-fresh fruit-fresh veggies if ya like it....just try to avoid the basic junk foods.

heh, the very first symptom I got after I knew I was pregnant was extreme hunger. It was insane... I cleaned out our cupboards and fridge and there was nothing left to eat in our house by the end of the week. So that Saturday after work I went and bought a boatload of healthy snacks to keep me going, like cheese and yogurt, applesauce, powerbars, granola bars, trail mix, etc. Come Monday morning, the sick feeling kicked in, and everything I had bought was just REPULSIVE to me. I could hardly eat for a couple weeks there.

But I found that Seabands helped immensely. Even though nothing was appetizing to me, still, they relieved me of the nausea so I could actually eat again. The foods that I liked the best were soup and spicy Asian/Indian food (which I never eat normally).

I second lime! I am still putting it in my water to help me drink enough water. But I recommend getting fresh limes for that and not the lime in a bottle. Its a whole different taste.

Whenever the big time sickness takes hold there are few things I can eat but I can eat Vanilla wafers. I couldn't eat saltine crackers, they were so gross to me. Otherwise if there is anything that sounds good, go with it. Sometimes its not the most healthy stuff but its better than nothing.
