A new arrival!! :)

We're home... Mya was born at 2:45am and weighing in at 6lbs, 3oz. 19" long. Mya's doing well and is *SO* sweet! Her middle name is Caitlyn.. last minute name change! lol!

I'll post a condensed 'baby story; here for anyone interested..

Got the call at 3 when I posted the other day... they didn't break my water till 6:20.. I walked around for a couple hrs but my contractions were'nt doing much for my dilation, so they started me on pitocin at 8:30... did more walking around... contractions kicked in well about 1 1/2 hrs later... at 11pm I was dead tired... haven't been getting much sleep lately (only 1 hr the night before I was induced) so went with the epidural about 11:30.. was pure *HEAVEN*..

After the epi, I watched CSI, Law & Order, etc.. and waited for time to pass...

chatted with Dh and the nurse, and finally about 2:30 a.m. I felt pressure so the nurse checked me, called in my OB, and at 2:40 I was told to push.. had to push a few times and she was born at 2:45 on the button.

So.. that's that.

Was a nice, relaxing, easy birth, and i 'm glad to be home.
