I waited 13 months on mine. I heard a lot of my neighbors always asking me why I got pregnant so soon. Plain and simple. I wanted their age to be close together that way when my oldest go to school the next one soon to follow. I can work and have my freedom. After this one we are done. My husband voluntarily wants to get fix. He is hoping with this one its a girl. I told him I don't care as long as the baby is healthy but I don't mind having another boy. We already have plenty of clothes. I always hear a lot of people say that a girl its too hard to raise and too complicated when they get older. We will see

All children are complicated to raise these days! There are all kinds of things to worry about with both, some the same some different.

I waited 4 yrs because I wanted alone time with my bewborn while the older one was in school. I also didn't want to have to deal with paying for 2 kids in college at the same time. My DD was first so she was really helpful when her little brother came along which was great since their dad's participation in our family ended with conception of DS.

Waitied 15 months. They are exactly 2 yrs appart and even if sometimes it's hard at the begginning (2 in diapers, etc.) it's great because they can play together and we still had all the baby stuff.

Hard on the mommy's body two pregnancies in a row. If you breasfeed for a while, the period between stooping to breastfeed and getting pregnant again is not long. I felt like my body was not mine for a long time.

8 months until an accident happened. I had just barely stopped nursing and was able to have ONE margaritta! At least I got that one! Mine are 15 months apart. I like having them close together because they're all into the same things.

mine are 3 yrs apart. I think it is great, I could actually talk to my oldest about what was going to happen when the new baby came and he is a great helper. I had him pretty much potty trained and I am able to give the baby a little extra attention like I did my first. They play together well. I think I'm going to wait a little longer before our next mainly because we aren't financially ready.

I have 7.5 years between number 1 and 2 not by my choice though. Then for 2 to 3 they are exactly 17 months apart. I got prego when number 2 was just about 8 months old. Yes its hard in the begining but there are days where its great and days where its bad but we make it thru.

Mine are all different depending on what was going on in my life. My first 2 are 4 years apart. We had talked about 3 yrs being a good time between, but then dh went back to school, so we decided to wait a bit longer. After that we thought we would wait 5 yrs so we could afford daycare, but dd had other ideas and came only 3.5 yrs later!!! Then we were done. But tragedy stuck and my son was killed in an accident and we decided to have more children. So my son is 4 yrs younger than his sister. Then we wanted more right away since we were getting old. So next son is not quite a year younger. Then we decided to wait until the baby was 2 so my body had time to recover. Well 15 months later along came the next ds!!! (I am no good with them pills!) Then we decided to have one more about the time the baby was 2., but then we were quite a bit older by then and had fertility issues so they ended up being 3 yrs apart.

Whatever you decide, someone will have something to say about it! So just do what you think is best and don't worry about what any one else thinks!!

We had our first daughter, and were pregnant again when she was 16 months old. They are 26 months apart. I liked that. our second daughter was 10 months old when we got pregnant with the third. So the girls are now 4 years, 21 months, and 3.5 weeks old. IT IS HARD.

My kids are 16 months apart. My husband and mom told me it would be easier to have them close together. THEY LIED!!!! The first 3 years it was really hard but now I am really glad they are so close. Up until last year they are the best of friends. They still are but have started fighting a lot. They go to each other first if they have good news and/or bad new. They fight with each other but they will tear the head off of anyone messing with her big brother or his little sister.
