which method to test?

I was going to put the two options in the heading but I couldn't without laughing too hard.. When you test, do you pee on the stick or dip the stick in the cup? Just curious... My girlfriends (who both had bright lines the second they took the test) peed on the stick. I dipped mine everytime I tested with DS and didn't get a positive until I was a full trimester along. Does it make a difference?

I don't know that it makes a difference but I always peed on the stick. I hating trying to pee in a cup.

I prefer the disposable cup method myself. Works like a charm every time. I could not do okay with peeing on a stick. I mean really how do you know the pees actually going where it needs to or that to much isn't getting on it since some tests require so many drops only. Dip away.

I thought it was easier to dip than try and pee on the stick...I did it that way with both my pregnancies and got positives the first time both times.

I tested both ways and the end result was the same. BUT when peeing on the stick I make srure I really have to go so that there are many chances to miss while still going I know TMI but I guess I am not that coordinated.

To me it was easier because (TMI) I could start peeing and then put the stick in the stream! Worked for me just fine.

this is me - I could not picture myself peeing on the stick so I got a cup and got a positive with CJ this time the dr did a blood test so I did not do the test myself but would have done it the same way.
