ok, so after you get pregnant you wonder why...why in the world do they call it just "morning" sickness, because I am by no means only sick in the morning. It's seems to be more of a 24 hours thing.

So now I'm onto trying SeaBands, they seem to be working, I still feel kind of sick. My only question is, has anyone else used them? And how often should I replace them? It says they can be washed up to 5 times in mild soap and after that they lose their elasticity (but personaly I don't want to take them off and have that sick feeling again)

Why don't you buy a second set so you always have a clean pair? I washed mine in the washer, and the dryer actually shrank them a little, so they didn't get stretched out. They help a little, but nothing really took away the feeling - in fact, I get the nausea back just remembering it! Lemon drop candy with RealLemon helped a little, also. You're right - it's not just mornings.

I completely agree...it wasn't just "morning" sickness for me either. I also tried eating cookies & candy with ginger along with drinking ginger ale. It did actually help. With my first born, I even took a spice bottle of ginger & just smelled it when I felt a wave of sickness. As strange as it sounds it seemed to work.

Good luck!

You can also try preggie pops (I think that's what they're called). They sell them at Motherhood Maternity. It's basically just hard candy (I've heard lemon candy can work just as well but I don't like lemon flavored stuff so I needed something else). They sell them as hard candy and lollipops (I bought the hard candy and carried it around in my purse - it worked great for when I wasn't at home and didn't have food readily available). I swear they helped for at least a little bit. I can sympathize with the 24-hour-sickness stuff. I was nauseous all day with both my boys. Good luck and I hope it gets better soon!

The ginger really is supposed to help....gingerale, ginger candies, even fresh ginger, if you can stomach it. I also had 24 hour a day sickness...to the point of finding good combinations to eat that would also be good to come back up! (No, I didn't ENJOY it, but I figured if I was going to throw it up, I may as well find the best way to!) Just remember that all the sickness means your hormones are high...and that means your body is doing what it needs to do for a healthy baby!
