Yippy pregnancy roids! They always hit me in my 7 month of pregancy. Any ideas for scent free creams that work well....no Prep H for me it is to stinky and witch hazel does not work. I'll need a good brand for afterwards to since I tend to get a misarable case for 3-5 weeks after giving birth.... ah the joys of pregancy

Thanks

Jen

I tried a hot shower for a few minutes today and let the water run down my crack I feel a little better now and a little less swollen I had to sit on some hard bleacher stands at the ice arena this weekend so I was a little more irritated the usual. I still need to find a cream though. I think the one I used before was white and had benzocaine in it for the pain.

It was worth it though My little one was in her Ice Show this weekend and looked so cute

Do you know what a sitz bath is? It was a real help after I had my kids - you can choose an ice one, a warm one or a hot one -altering is great! Wonder if it may help!

As far as creams, call your pharmacy and tell them - bet they have an answer for you! I used the Tucks brand - the other brands burned - of the pads.

I cant even beleive I am sharing this but mine stayed after the babies and tends to act up at that time of the month. I use the tuck medicated pads they are not messy like creams but seem to make them feel better. Gross but just hold it there for a a minute really works for me. hiding now.

I mentioned rhoids to a group of my girlfriends once and they all thought I was crazy. None of them got them with their pregnancies. I had them with #1. I actually got my first when I was only like 6 weeks. Then I got a major one during delivery. I just used the Tucks or Prep H medicatied wipes. I got some spray stuff (Lanocaine or something like that) with dd#2 for my episiotomy. That stuff might feel good on a hemorrhoid.
It's funny how people react about hemorrhoids. They think it's gross. It's not a butt fungus or anything like that. It's a DIALATED Blood Vessel caused by increased blood flow down there. Hello, being pregnant, increased blood flow to the fetus= hemorrhoids.

AHH preggyroids arent they so much fun!! well like you I have a little friend that doesnt want to go away EVER. I tired the tuck pads and I even went as far and leaving them there and nothing worked. I talked to my doctor and he gave me a perscript for some cream that was 2.5% that works pretty well combined with the sitz baths. Im 37 weeks and scared what my bum is going to look like after pushing. I got my little friend after i pushed out our first child. Well goo luck hon and i hope you find something that works for you!!
