I found something to eat first thing in the morning or all day in my case. I have heard many say they don't like saltines and I guess I really don't care for them either. So I found something else that comes in different flavors, but not strong taste. RICE CAKES! They are easy on the stomach and like I said different flavors is a plus.

The only 2 things that saved me when I was preggo was lemonade and triscuits. My Dr. told me that just smelling lemons can ease nausea and drinking it was even better, so I kept Florida's Natural in the lemonade in business thru 2 pregnancies. My Dr also recomended the triscuits because they actually have a little nutrition and fiber (constipation was an issue for me) Good luck

I have a pitcher of lemonade in my fridge right now. I like it when I am pregnant and especially during the summer, I will have to buy a box of triscuits and see how they work. I need to go out sometime today (or send dh tonight) and get more rice cakes.

Glad you found something to soothe your stomach! I LOVE lemonade, but through both pregnancies, I had the worst heartburn, brought on really badly by acidic food and drinks like lemonade. I was so bummed! I did end up buying Aveda Hand Relief that has a little hint of citrus in it, because the smell of anything citrus helped settle my stomach. I kept the lotion on me at all time, and whenever I got a little queasy, out came the Hand Relief!!!

Ya know I never even thought about rice cakes. Great idea. Rootbeer and lemonade are 2 of my favorites right now. Yummy.

Ooo, that new mint water really helps settle my upset stomach! Peppermint is great for nausea, but the spearmint also cools and helps with acid. Altoids really helped my friend through her pregnancy. But remember, it's got to be the real thing, not just some artificial flavoring, like in the red & white swirl candies they give out at Sonic and some restaurants.

Altoids and Root Beer worked best for me. I tried to avoid root beer though since I am trying to gain no more than 25 pounds this time around...avoiding most junk food and it is working so far
