We had an ultrasound this morning, and it's a boy! Kat is going to have a little brother.

He's officially due on October 23rd (based on the date of my last period), but he's measuring like he's due on Halloween. The doc says he's fine, though, thank goodness. All his measurements look great.

I guess it's time to shop for little blue onesies. :love:

Kat still doesn't quite understand that she's going to be a big sister yet. I've been talking to her about the baby since I found out I was pregnant. Once I told her "Mommy has a baby in her tummy." and she looked at me in horror and started shouting "Mommy ate baby! Mommy ate baby!!!" Crazy kiddo.

Kat will be 2 years and 8 months older than her brother. Maybe that will be far enough apart for them to be buddies while they're growing up. I'm 16 months older than my brother and we fought like cats and dogs when we were kids.

*blue vibes to Manda!!* Will you let us know how your ultrasound goes? I hope you get a boy, but don't be disappointed if the baby is a girl. Baby girls are fun, they seldom ever pee all over you, and their clothes are so much cuter!!
