BABY! lol Okay not the answer you were looking for? Well we went in on Friday for the ultrasound and the baby was moving the entire time! I'm not kidding the baby didn't hold still the entire time we were there 45 min to an hour! Geez. Dh said holy crap I can't believe the baby moves that much. Of course my response was DUH! Do you think I've been making that up? So now he has a lot more sympathy for me! lol

He's been telling everyone about watching the baby kick on the ultrasound and how crazy it is. And then of course demonstrating too. Its pretty hilarious.

The tech also had a student in with her so we got to hear a lot of explanations of things and see a lot. Of course the baby had its legs crossed pretty much the entire time we were in there. Not surprising. Afterall it is my dh's child so being uncooperative is pretty much expected. But she did manage to get a couple of good shots and didn't see any boy parts so...it looks like we're having a girl! Boy we're we surprised. I think dh had me convinced it was going to be a boy but we are both thrilled. Dh had already said she's grounded! Guess he's thinking back to what he was like as a teenage boy!

The tech told me that anytime I was back in town to just stop in and she'd do another peek since the baby didn't want to cooperate. She did say that at the beginning her first instinct was a girl. The reason I was questioning is because the baby's heartrate was only 142 which is usually a boy, but then again I know its an old wives tale. But since my mom is coming in this week I'll go again while she's here so she can get a chance to see the baby.

Both of my boys and my sister's son had that low of a heartbeat...so wives tale or not, it worked for us! At least you know the baby is healthy..and how awesome that the tech is willing to take another peek for you! Keep us updated!

So are you gonna stop back in, or are you just going to wait until you have the baby to know? It would drive me crazy to not know.

Not that your asking buy I vote for being surprised, I didnt either sexes of my babies till they were born and it was very exciting!

I'm definitely going to have to go back in. My mom is coming up this week so I'll go while she is here so she can see the baby. I just want to make sure. Hopefully the baby will cooperate this time.

Did they give you a video or CD? If you take a tape, they may do that for you. How exciting!

Yeah!! Girls are so much fun!!! With our 2nd we wanted to find out and couldn't because she was moving so much, but luckily I had to have like 6 more ultrasounds so I got to find out!

We didn't get a tape. The tech said they weren't allowed to do them anymore. She said she wished she could have though. She did tell me of a place to go to get the 3d done and they do video there.
