I am pregnant with #3 and I am having a lot of Braxton Hicks. I am 29 weeks and mostly it is just tightening, but some stop me in my tracks. I never had these with the other two. My doctor says it is because my body knows what is going to happen. Maybe because I've never had anything until labor this is very unusual for me.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm pregnant with baby number two and I still haven't experienced them. Maybe one night a couple of weeks ago but I'm not even sure about that. I guess this doesn't really help you but it is nice for me to see that someone didn't have them either during their first two pregnancies.

Are you feeling any pressure "down there"? They may need to do a non-stress test.

I have been getting them a lot with this baby, which is also my number 3. My dr. said the same thing, and that your body just starts preparing more and from what she says the labor will be easier because of this.

OKay, mine are starting to make me miserable. LOL, they aren't hurting like a serious contraction but the constant tightening is making me hurt. I am getting very uncomfortable, and my tummy has been staying hard more times then not. Is this many normal???
