Absolutely! Have you ever heard of a "dry birth" where the amniotic fluid goes away? Well, in some cases, the opposite can happen...like with me! I have an abnormal amount of amniotic fluid develop when I am pregnant, which causes me to measure larger than normal. I actually measured 40 weeks at 33 weeks with one of my children...and with the rest, I measured 40 weeks easily by week 36. Too much fluid can cause problems such as pre-term labor...so it is a good thing he is jumping on this to see what is going on. I did have one of my babies born a full month premature due to this problem...but thankfully, it all worked out fine..and I am sure yours will, too.
