Hi I was just wondering if anyone out there went on a babymoon. That is when you go on one last fling with your husband ( just the 2 of you) before you have your baby. I am 6 months pregnant and really feeling desperate to go on a vacation with just him. We already have one child and I remember when we brought him home it seemed like an eternity before we were even able to have a conversation. What do you think? Do you have any ideas? I look like a whale but I really want some one on one time with my husband. Thanks in advance.

Go for it if you can!!! I never have. Heck, we have been married 22 years and have never been on a Honeymoon let alone a babymoon!

Heck why not? If you have someone to watch you other child then you should go for it! DH and I have never done it, but would love to. (lol, finding someone to watch our 3 is kinda hard!)

I say go for it! I would love for dh and I to go on one before this baby comes. Maybe I'll have to start planning.

If you are able. I say go for it. We went to the beach for a long weekend when I was 6 months pregnant with DS. That is the last time we have gone away just the 2 of us. We keep talking about it, but it never happens.

Go for it. We went to San Fransisco (from VA) in my 2nd trimester. It was great and I know that it will be a long time before I can go again. It was nice to go somewhere and relax one last time before we had to think about the baby when traveling. Do it and enjoy the company of just each other!

We did some small things. Went to see some movies that were out that we wanted to see. Cuz we didn't know when we'd be able to that again. It was a little difficult near the end for me to be comfortable, but it was still nice. We also went to a dinner theater one night. I wanted to do something special right before the baby was born. That was valentines day and DS was born March 5. No real babymoon, though.
