I know I would not travel at that point. Glad you put your foot down.

You don't need to tell your husband this but technically you can still take a car trip at this point in your pregnancy. I took one between 33 and 36 weeks I think with both my pregnancies. It was kind of uncomfortable riding in the car and I had to stop to go to the bathroom EVERY HOUR but otherwise everything was fine. But I did check with my OBGyn first. I wouldn't want to go if my mother-in-law was going to hand me that crap either though.
