I had a doc appt yesterday and I'm one cm dilated! I know that doesn't mean the baby's coming too soon, but I'm glad things are moving along!
I can't wait to meet our new baby! This is our third and we really wanted to find out the sex on ultrasound but baby's legs were in the way! I'm due on the 25th, so not too much time left!!

Awesome! Hopefully that means labor will be quick and easy for you! I was 2 cm for a long time and then when I went in to have DS I was 3cm and my labor progressed super quick from there. I went from 3 to 10 in about 8 hours. Pretty quick for #1! Keep us posted!

Yay! I have been 1 1/2 cm for my last two doctor visits and I feel the same way...it could still be weeks, but we are definitely moving along : ) I'm curious to see what the doctor has to say this Friday.

Yep babies come when they come. I had a doctors appointment and I had no progress and just a few days later had my second DD.

Oh how exciting. When I had dd2 which is the first I gave birth to(dd1 is stepdaughter) I showed no signs of labor. I had no contractions at all and went shopping the day before original due date because they ended up telling me I would be a week late. Well my water broke when I was shopping an hour away from home and it was just me and dd who was 4. I only trickled so I just thought I had an accident. I changed my clothes and kept shopping for baby stuff. It happened again and I still thought I was peeing so I just went home. Called mom and was laughing that I was peeing myself at the store and it happened again when I was sitting down. Mom came and took me to the hospital because Bill was fishing and he had no service where he was on his cell. As soon as we walked into the ER I gushed everywhere(at least it wasn;t at home where I would have had to clean it up) I was taken right in and given my antibiotic because I have the Strep B and then they started me on patosin(sp). Boy when those contractions started they hit me hard since I had not had any on my own. I really did not know what to expect since it was my first baby. I went to the hospital at 9 pm and Ashley was born at 5:23 am. I was so scared that I would have to push for hours like some of those woman on tv but I pushed hew out in 20 minutes. Not bad for my first if I say so myself. I sure hope my next one is that easy.
