For those of you who have planned second, third or so on pregnancies: how did you know you were ready? Did any of you plan around vacations, events, work etc.? Always curious about how it works with other people!

I have never really planned my pregnancies. I just get pregnant easily I guess I just put it in God's hands and soon I am pregnant.

I think alot of times God causes a tugging in your heart a longing. Sometimes it can be very strong. I kind of want another one. But my mind says okay you got 3 already but if the longing gets where it's all I can think about. I might feel it would be time to try. Unless I ever have a surprise. I suggest you pray about it If you pray. And say if it's not your will take the longing away but if it is keep it there and let it grow.Hope this helps any.

Yes! Yes! Yes! My goodness, who am I to think of this without putting prayer into it first. I do feel the longing, sure. There are some "logical" (kind of stupid) things that say wait a little longer. You are SO right- put it in God's Hands. He is laughing up there b/c He already knows what's going to happen anyway!

My second child was planned down to the month we wanted him born. Dh was graduating from college, so we wanted him born right before that so I would still be working where I was with the insurance and all. Plus, my first 2 were 4 years apart since we had already put a second child on hold for dh to go back to school. My 3rd and 6th children were decided totally by God, not by me. They were both suprises. The other 3 we took when ever we could get them, since we wanted them so badly!!! Now they are all wanted and loved!

Both of our kids were oops caused by my crazy hormones and attacking hubby before he could slip one on I plan to get an IUD so there will be no more oops. Told my hubby if he is lucky I'll let him have one more kid in about 5 years of course he said we will be to old at that point we are both 32 right now.

My daughter was not necissarily an opps, we had talked about it and wanted to try for a baby. We werent trying at that exact moment but she suprised us. But she has been such a blessing. For the next go around maybe in about a year (unless we get another suprise) I would like to plan it for warmer weather, January was so cold it took twice as long to bundle up a newborn to just run to tthe store for 5 min.
