Good luck to you. Just because you had preeclampsia before, doesn't mean you will have it again, as the Dr. told me. Not working will make a big difference. I had it with my first, plus bedrest from week 27. They even induced at 36 wks due to preeclampsia, but it didn't do any good and they got it under control, so we went full term. With my second, I did great, no bedrest, but I did swell, but no preeclampsia at all. Delivery went well, with healthy baby. However, 2 days after I came home I got high blood pressure (didn't know - my biggest symptom was dizziness and couldn't breathe well) and went back in with pregnancy induced hypertension - same thing as preeclampsia, but the normal cure is to deliver. Just know that every pregnancy is different.
