Well, I had my Dr. appointment today. I am 23 weeks along (twins of course) and I feel like I should be full term. No, I am not huge yet...but I feel like I have a "heavy stomach" and it's hard to sleep. I've started having a little swelling- not anything to go crazy about, but it's still annoying. Babies should each weigh about 1 pound now. We are hoping for 37 weeks at the least, so in 10 weeks I may not be doing much of anything- just hoping that we can go as long as possible. The twins room is ready to go, I didn't want to have to work on it when I was huge and couldn't move easily. My MIL and FIL painted it in July and the cribs are all set up. DH said today that he was happy we were having one boy and one girl...it will be easier to tell them apart and they won't get to dress the same. We is all for "independance" when it comes to our kids. We encourage them all to be different from eachother by having different styles, hobbies and ideas. I, myself, am feeling well, don't have a lot of "compalints" as of yet and I am not gaining more weight then I should be.
For the rest of the pregnancy now my appointments are once every 2 to 3 weeks, instead of once a month. I just saw the Dr. two weeks ago, but he just wants to make sure that things are going well- since I'm carring twins. With my last 2 pregnancies I was only seen once a month up until the last month (then it was once a week). My next appointment is the day after we get back from our vacation!!!
