Without baby. He's still cooking! I got to the hospital and they were unable to stop my contractions and are only able to deliver 36 weeks and later, so I was sent by Ambulance to United Hospital in St. Paul. The contractions got stronger and stronger on the way to the hospital. They had me on mag sulfate to try to stop them, but it didn't work. (And it didn't make me sick YAY!) Once we got to the hospital, they were going to allow my labor to continue, so they took me off the mag sulfate and the contractions softened and eventually died down. Not gone, but not nearly as often. They were 2 minutes apart. So, now I'm on bedrest. I just need to hold the baby in for 4 more days until I'm able to deliver here in Menomonie, but if I go back into labor before then, I need to go back to St. Paul and have the baby there.

So, my mom and grandma drove over this morning and brought me home from the hospital and are folding clothes and doing dishes before they leave to head home tonight. My friend Kelly is coming in the morning to take the boys out for a while and my friend Kathy has the boys right now. So, I'm headed off to take a nap! I'm hoping to be able to post more on my blog later tonight. (Click on my pic of the boys to be linked there)

Well, that is good news, right? Four days! You can make that! When is dh coming home or is he?

You let him keep on cooking!! We don't want a baby before he is done!! Stay in that bed and let the rest of life get handled by OTHERS!!

Absolutely! Take care of yourself and let everyone else do the work!! Glad to hear everything is going okay! Can you have someone call one of us to let the board know if you go into labor?? Boy do we get attached and worried about our fellow mommies!!!

Thanks everyone! If baby waits until my sceduled induction of August 30th, DH will for sure be here, anything before 8/24 and he won't for sure be there. He's out of town for work, and it's not something he can leave in the middle of. I was really glad he called my mom last night and had her come today! She and my grandma did 4 loads of wash and fed the kids. It's 5:00 here and 8:30 is bedtime, so we just have that long to be alone tonight. Tomorrow, my friend Kelly is coming to take the boys to the fair, then I'll have some resting time also.

I'll tell you right now that BEDREST SUCKS! I hate sitting here idle while other people are doing my house work/chores. (Was nice that Grandma was folding all those clothes, though ) Anyway, I'll try and keep you posted.

Glad to hear you and baby are fine. Enjoy the help and the rest while you have it. I know it is hard to let others "take over" your home but it is only for a short time. Try and rest and keep us posted!!!
