You need some carbs for the baby to develop. Try limiting yourself to 2 servings at breakfast, 3 at lunch and 4 or 5 dinner. Check the label on the Carnation to see how many grams of carbs it contains (one serving is about 15 grams). If it is 15 or less, it will make a perfect snack between meals. GD need to eat 6 small meals a day to maintain blood sugar. If it is more, you would probably have to cut back on some carbs at the next meal.

No I don't have a GD but I'm trying be careful because I know I can still have one at 26 wks. Carbs that I have plenty. I eat rice everyday (white) but I do exercise a lot. I still jog in the treadmill for 30 mins (not fast though) I still walk our dog for 30 mins during the day and I chase DS around outside. That's my typical day so I need some carbs not just for the baby but for myself too. I don't know if taking pre natal and the Instant breakfast is a good idea I mean that's doubling the vitamins and minerals I'm getting. I don't know if its harmful to double the amount but I'm sure it has some sort of affects.
