I had my annual exam today, and found out I'm not pregnant like I was hoping. I'm not really surprised, just disappointed. Here's my little conundrum: I want to get pregnant again so badly, but I also want to keep BF DS as long as possible! I guess I'll just have to pray that I start ovulating soon even while BF.

There is hope for you to become pregnant....my sister got pregnant and she was breast feeding her son......but she also was not like alot of women that never had a period while they bf...she got hers right back as normal...she started bf because everybody told her she would not have a period during that time....lol...

I overheard a nurse telling somene that the other day at my doctor's office. something about it hampering the chemicas needed. Just relax, and enjoy what you are doing now, and the time in bed

Yes, there is hope that you can get pregnant while BF'ing. My youngest is proof.
Dh and I were trying NOT to get pregnant and I did while still BF'ing my DD

A friend of mine got pregnant twice while still breastfeeding. Her kids are 14 1/2 and 17 months apart in age. It does happen!

It sure does happen! Samantha Joy is the one I have that is proof of that! I got pregnant with her when Meghan was about 5 months old, and had no idea. I didnt' realize I COULD be pregnant till I was about 16 weeks along.
