I posted a few days ago about the pregnancy tests I took (total of 3) and how it had a very faint positive line. Well on Monday night I couldn't take it any longer and told my husband what was happening. He told me let's go to Target and buy another test...one that is not from the dollar store. We went and I bought the EPT test......I came home and my husband insisted that I take the test. Well I did (even thought I was a nervous wreck)...my biggest fear was that it was going to give me bad news. Well it was POSITIVE!!!! No doubt, clear as day.....POSITIVE!!!!!
I can't believe that this is finally happening. We have been hoping and trying for what seems an enternity to me (3 plus years)........my husband and I didn't even know how to react.....we just stood there for the longest time and looked at each other. We didn't know what to say.....we got ready for bed and couldn't sleep for hours. We felt much better and happier in the morning. I think we were just numb when we first found out the news. I called my doctor the very next morning to schedule a blood test......but she said it was not necessary that I was definetly pregnant....after all I took a total of 4 tests. She made my first appt for Sept 4th.......which seems to be a long time from now. Our plan is to tell our families and friends after our first dr's appt. So far I'm only 5 weeks along and the happiest I've ever been.
Thank you all for your best wishes and thank you for being there for me when there was no one else I could talk to.
By the way, my Birthday is Friday.......and this is the best birthday present I've ever gotten.
