This is DD#2. They didn't have it or didn't do it with DD#1. I guess it's pretty routine at my doctors office. There was nothing medically wrong, they just do 1 for everyone.

Did you guys have to pay for ultrasounds normally? I never had to pay for any of my ultrasounds thanks to my insurance. They didn't even ask me if I wanted 3D or not - they just did it.

I had one done for medical purposes. I had pre-eclampsia and had a ton of ultrasounds.. at my high risk drs during a heart study and growth scan they showed me my son in 4D. I'm not sure if they were looking at something with the 4D or if it was just for me but it was sweet to see. The amazing thing was for those first few weeks after he was born, caden looked just like his 3D pic when he held his hand up to his chin : )

These are the images...

I had one done with last DD. I had to pay for it out of pocket, because it was not medically necessary. I think that I would like to do it again with this baby, but I guess it all depends if we find out the sex of the baby in the doctor's office.

I took the US tech forever to do my US. She said DD was by far the most active baby she had ever tried to record.
