I am going to be 33 weeks tomorrow. I have been having contractions that come and go. This weekend I had some that lasted about 1 hour. I had these with my daughter also but do not remember having any with my son until I actually went into labor and my water broke and everything. With my daughter I actually was having pre term labor because the contractions weren't stopping and my water was leaking, I had to go to the hospital so they could stop my contractions. I am not due until October 9th but will be full term in 3 weeks. I haven't lost my plug yet as I did with my other two. Anybody else ever experience this?

Drink lots of water and lay on your right side. If you keep having them definitely call your doctor. That little baby NEEDS to cook for a few more weeks!

I'm due the week after you and was having Braxton Hicks last week. They weren't as painful or regular as actual contractions. When I went home after work I drank a lot of water and layed in bed (I heard it was your left side to lie on). They went away after I rested some.

Too much activity or not enough water is what always brings mine on. So if you are getting them switch activities and drink up and see if they go away.

I drank lots of water too, bc I thought I might have been dehydrated. I try to drink lots of water throughout the day but sometimes I forget to drink enough.Mine weren't as painful as real contractions either. They were just getting a little uncomfortable. They eventually went away when I drank more water and tried to rest.

You are right. He needs to be in for at least three more weeks

Don't you hate that the same symptoms mean 14 different things when you are preggo? It would be so great if there was a set small number of things that meant you were going into labor and that is the only time they happened. It would take a lot of the guess work out of it!

I agree. Sometimes I think to myself I am not going anywhere until my water breaks. That seems to be one of the clear clues you are really going into labor
