I'm having difficulty breathing sometimes at night. I can still breath but not very deep ones. I told my OB about this and he said not to worry. Lately I've been doing "inhale, exhale" method because of DS (driving me crazy ) maybe its affecting the way I breath I don't know. The baby's head has been down for a month now and she won't move except her legs and arms I swear its killing me. Last night she kicked my ribs (ohh it hurts) I guess every pregnancy is different because I never had a problem with anything like these with my first one. DS was very easy except for the delivery part. This one is causing me a lot of problems. Not to mention I"m also stress out about this whole moving thing and DH will be gone for a month next month. I'm lucky if I can get 2 hours of sleep every night. I hope this is nothing serious but I"ve been told by the OB that if it gets any worse and I feel like dying I need to go to the hospital. I'm hoping to get this baby out at 37wks. I can't take this anymore. I still have 13 more weeks to go

As I got closer to the end, I would have a hard time breathing sometimes. At work we have these stairs I have to go up everyday - I had to stop working because I had a hard time catching my breath afterward. Your body isn't what it used to be and a lot of stuff has moved.
Is it when you lay down that you have trouble breathing? Is it possible to prop yourself up and you can breath easier? I can't imagine how you are getting by with 2 hours of sleep this far along - you are mighty woman!

So sorry. My sister is carrying my DD for me and is having the same issue with breathing, did not have this problem with her son. Just take each day minute by minute and keep breathing, will pray for you.

I'm so sorry you are having so much trouble! I completely empathize with you. I had that with my third pregnancy, and hope this time around I won't have that much trouble. It's like the baby is pushing up against your lungs and they can't expand or something. I also found that anxiety made it worse. Look for ways to try to relieve your stress. Easier said than done, i know...

Sounds like you will be having a bigger baby. I was the same way and ended up having a baby that was 2 pounds bigger than the last

I also had problems breathing/ catching my brfeath was more like it will dd and she was 9lbs 10 oz. I thin kthe size of baby and how much room for the baby you have makes a hugh diferance with the breathing issuses. When this would happen to me I would try to relax will help with beathing better and just sit with my eyes closed and take a few as deep as you can breathes. HTH

I have issues with breathing sometimes now that I'm getting close to the end. The size and position of the baby make a big difference. Try propping yourself up a bit more when sleeping and don't sleep on your back. I can't lay on my back for very long at all. A lot of the time its just due to the baby making things difficult for you. Hugs.

I had some problems being short of breath while laying down at night early on in my second pregnancy. Propping myself up a bit with a second pillow helped a lot. Neither one of my babies was big by the way - 6 lbs 14 oz and 7 lbs 1 oz.
