I was wondering if anyone here has tried a hotsling. I want to get a sling for baby#4. With my last two, I used the over-the-shoulder-baby-holder around the house but I have since sold it on ebay. Anyone with hotsling experience? Thanks! In case you are wondering what they are Welcome - Hotslings and I've also seen them on ebay.

They look fun and comfortable. My only question would be: how much stretch/grow room is there? With adjustable slings, you have room to grow with the baby. If you have a whopper baby- would he/she rapidly outgrow that sling? (didn't look like you could adjust it). Maybe the sling has some lycra in it? My kids were both very big, and I used a sling with a loop to give them room as they grew.

I'm getting and using somthing called a cuddler wrap (doula_mom makes them). It's similar to that, but has a bit more fabric, and growing room for the child. I'm excited to get it and try it out!

I made one of the wraps myself. This way I can use it for all his growing.

if you would like a link on how to do it youself - it was really easy, let me know. there is also a website showing how to use it.

I love my Hotsling. It may take some trial and error to find the right fit though. Some have a little stretch in them which is perfect. I definitely recommend them. For more info on babywearing and all types of slings/carriers visit TheBabyWearer.com. You can even buy used slings there cheap so you're not out a lot of money if you don't like it.

I use a Wrap 'N Wear I got off of e-bay that came with an instructional DVD. I love it because I can wear her several different ways!

When my twins were younger, I would wear both of them (we have 2 of the waterproff ones, they are tan and made of a special material that dries quickly.) I would crisscross the slings and wear both at the same time. I cannot do that now (as they are too heavy to carry both) but carrying one is still very easy with the Hotsling that I have. They are 22 months old if that helps you at all.

I was thinking about using a sling with this baby. I haven't used one before. I seen a lady a couple with ago wearing her baby in a Moby Sling. It was really cute and her baby looked so comfy in it.
