I just wanted to say good luck!! Jan 2006 I started on Clomid I did 2 rounds but it did not work for me then they put me on injectable gonal and I did one round and it worked like a charm I have a beautiful happy and healthy baby girl who is now 10 months. So see singles can happen and i was on more potent drugs.

Good luck! I took Clomid also to help me get pregnant, and after adjusting my dosage a few times, we got pregnant! On my side of the family, we have many sets of twins, but I only had one baby at a time. Let us know how everything goes!

I was just wondering, what dosage of Clomid will you be taking? Here is what happened when I took it:
2 rounds, 50 mg. cycle days 5-9= TWINS!!!

I'm not saying it will happen to you. My doc. gave us a 6-8 % chance of twins. I guess every doc. must give different %. He told us 2 "side effects" of taking Clomid are hot flashes, had 'em and twins have'em

We were/are thrilled of course. I took Clomid because I couldn't get pg. after a m/c and d&c. I remember when told us about the twin thing and we said we will take twins!!! We were just so happy to be getting some kind of meds.

Our guys are the first set of twins on my set of the family ever so that is pretty neat.

I hope you get pg.!!! I REALLY hope I didn't scare you or anything, that wasn't my intentions at all. I was just giving our experience of taking Clomid.

thank you for posting this experience of infertility after already having a baby. There really is nothing out there about secondary infertility. I always feel like im the only one going through it. I have a 3 year old dd and we having been trying for 2 years to have another. It took 10 months for me to get pregnant with her. The Dr had prescribed the clomid I filled it and I was waiting to get my period, but low and behold I was already pregnant! This time no such luck. I got the prescription for Clomid again last October but I keep putting it off with the hopes that I will conceive without it. I go back and forth about it and I guess I have been in denial about having to take it. This thread has helped alot. please keep us posted. Best of luck!
