I had Braxton Hicks contractions on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. Then I started waking up every 10 minutes or so with contractions about 2:00 this morning. That lasted about an hour before I couldn't drift off to sleep between them any more. They've been coming closer together for the past 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure we're reaching the 5 minute apart zone, but they are just not as painful as I imagined. Guess, we'll give it another 30 minutes and see! I just don't want to get my DH up and go to the hospital, just to have to turn around again : )
I'm due on Wednesday, according to the estimate based on my menstrual cycle, but I just realized that today is August 25th...which is exactly 40 weeks from when we are certain we conceived!
** Apparently it's not it yet ***
I was up for about two hours...until 5:00. They were 5 or 6 minutes apart for a good hour, but then they started getting more erratic again. Once they got to 10 minutes apart, I decided to try sleeping in between them again (gotta conserve that energy). They were still going like that until 8:00 and then started coming closer together. So, I'm back up!
