My son is 13 months and I give him snacks throughout the day in between his meals. I usually give him fruit (fresh and fuit cups), nutigrain bars, and fruit snacks. I am scared he is going to get tired of these soon, so I wanted to know what kind of snacks do you give your 1 year olds. He doen't really like crackers anymore (that was his first food). He will eat a potato chip every now and then, but I don't like to give them to him. I only do if I am eating them and he wants one. I would love to get some other ideas! Thanks in advance for your responses.

animal crackers
cheese slices, broken into small pieces
cherrios
diced canned fruit
cottage cheese
hard boiled eggs, diced
scrambled eggs

I also sat there while she fed herself, but I let her touch it and get messy.. Thats what bibs and washclothes are for.. My kids eat everything. But I also have always given them frutis, veggies, dairy ect...

yogurt, goldfish, pretzels, raisins. I spend so much money on fruit for snacks like grapes, strawberries, peaches, plums and blueberries, but they do eat it all!

Just be careful with raisins and blueberries. They could be choking hazards. Cut blueberries in half.

The foods listed are what we do alot of.

Those plus: pretzel sticks & Wheat Thins makes a cinnamin (sp) flavor now. They taste great & are made from whole grains and have no hydrogenated or partially hydrogentated oils in them.
