I went to the store to get some milk and a movie. This lady asked me how far along I am. I said 8 months ( oops I am actually 8 and a half) anyway she looked at me and said
"you are big" aren't you supposed to be big by now? I only have a month and a half to go. It is just weird some of the things strangers say.

yep, I would think that you are supposed to be big.

During my first pregnancy I actually had a Walmart check-out clerk reach out to touch my tummy because she said it was "good luck" to rub a pregnant belly. I was a little freaked out by a stranger rubbing me!!!

When I was about 8 months pregnant with my daughter I had an older lady approach me in Marshall's. She put her hand on my tummy and said "Oh, my dear! When are you due?" I gave her my most innocent, hurt look, and said "But I'm not pregnant!" The look of sheer horror on her face was priceless. I am so evil. She started stammering an apology when I told her I was just kidding. I've never seen someone so relieved in their life. I bet she thinks twice before she asks anyone when they're due again.

I also had a crazy experience with a young, married man in Walmart, but he had some kind of pregnancy fetish and it was pretty disturbing.

I bet she thinks twice before asking It is strange how a lot of men will hit on you when you are pregnant, It seems that they like pregnant women for some reason.

It's funny when I was pregnant with my daughter I used to hate it when my two SILs would rub my stomach. This time I don't mind it as much, but I wouldn't want a stranger to touch my belly Then I did the unthinkable and It was kind of on accident. I touched the pastor's daughters belly. Although, she knows me and didn't seem to mind. I thought to myself "why did I do that", I guess I wanted to touch an pregnant belly that wasn't mine and she looked so cute with her belly. The funny thing is a am kind of a shy person I was going to tell her I was sorry and I did it without thinking

I have so many stories to tell on this very subject having had 4 pregnancies but i will keep in short and say why do perfect strangers get the idea it is OK to rub another woman's pregnant belly? I would never do such a thing as that..........

I've never had anyone touch my belly unexpectedly but when I was pregnant with my daughter - i only gained 11 pounds - topping off at 150ish - I had many people ask if i was having twins --not strangers but clients and people who worked in my client's offices. Now that is rude. I am just BIG when pregnant. I can't help it!!!!

Yeah, does being pregnant automatically give people the right to touch you? I got so many comments when I was pregnant with DD that we had a joke about it in my office. People would ask me if I was having twins, would say that I must be having a huge boy, and that I should be due any time (when I wasn't even close). Well, I ended up having a tiny six pound little girl. It's so funny.
