well went yesterday for my weekly ultrasound we are keeping a biophysical profile of her to check fluids ect...well you need to score an 8 to pass with flying colors(apparently practice breathing fetal movement heart rate and fluid levels are assigned points) so far i have been passing well yesterday fluids plumeted from 11cm back down to 7cm and she did not recieve any points for fetal movement cause she would not kick she stretched a little but that was with stimulation. the tech said since the fluid is low that it will be harder for her to move. so i scored a 5.5 wich sucks so nurse called today back on complete bedrest until i see him monday and he decides weather to continue on a week at a time or deliver. so we will see. i'm bummed i was liking being able to get up a little but at least on monday i will be about 35 weeks so if we decide to deliver i will feel comfortable about it... just had vent a little one step forward 2 back seems to be the story of my life...

I am sorry to hear that as well. I will pray for you. A good thing is you are very close to full term. Like you said, if you have to deliver next week, then you will be at a good point to do so.

You do not need to apologize for venting. We are all here to listen and support each other. OK.

Keep us posted on how you are doing.

When I had this it was the centimeters of fluid they were measuring. I was admitted to the hospital overnight and had 5L of water intravenously. I bought me a few days, have you guys tried anything like that? 35 weeks is when the risks factor drastically drop so that's looking good! 36 completed weeks is best though so don't be surprised if the docs want to wait.

The breathing movements are good, that means they are practicing using their lungs so she's working get ready to make her appearance. I know it seems like forever just remember to do your kick counts and take it easy. Oh and drink lots of fluids. PM me if you need to talk.

Oh, I know that you have got to be exhausted, mentally, from all of this. Sure hope you manage to pull off another week..and then that little baby makes an entrance for MOMMY'S sake!! You holler if you need anything at all.

dr called later yesterday to talk with me. he is having me come in early monday and have another ultrasound if it does not improve we need to discuss delivery because her movements have decreased to just several times a day...he is concerned it will be to much stress on her with the lack of fluid..so we will see what monday brings.. i'm comfortable with delivering early i have talked with the pediatrican and neonatologist about the ramifications and my oldest was born a little over 36 weeks and only had a 7 day hospital stay so if it comes to this i'm prepared and not as concerned as i was a month ago. but things have gone up and down so ya never know what monday brings thanks for caring ladies....

You guys are in good hands, just try to relax Mom. Try to enjoy being preggo for this last little bit and please do me a favor and eat bunches of ice cream for me! Darn diet!
